Gospel Music is religious music that mainly emphasizes rhythmic instrumental accompaniment and improvisational singing. This music genre originated in the United States in the early 20th century, gospel music began with the prayers of black serfs. In the mid-20th century, record companies commercialized this kind of music. The golden age of gospel music began in 1945.
