  Taurus, you are hard-working as all get-out. You're patient and you're persistent. This is why you're a perfect match for Geodude. Is there a Pokémon more persistent and unyielding than this little ball of rock? This cute little guy pops up every 30 seconds to challenge you to a battle when you're just trying to get through a cave and on to the next city. If that's not persistent, what is?

  Geodude also works well with your careful dedication. As a tiny, young Pokémon, Geodude (to put it kindly) is not very good; however, if you train him through two evolutions, you get Golem, one of the most powerful rock Pokémon in the entire game. Geodude is a testament that if you take your time, things get done right. Plus, he's a piece of rock and Taurus is an Earth sign, so there's a natural affinity.

  Vanilluxe may have been a close match for Gemini; the two-faced floating icicles are whimsical, restless, and ever-changing. They even explode when both faces are angry - and you sort of do the same. You have a tendency to get a little restless and overwhelmed by your emotions; however, Doduo is the original bad boy when it comes to your star sign. The two-headed Pokémon is the literal embodiment of twins and it's a bird; Gemini is an Air sign, making this feathered friend a perfect fit.

  Doduo is also resourceful, like you. The bird doesn't have any wings, yet it can learn the important HM Fly. If you don't already know what it's like to be a Gemini, you'd probably think that's impossible, but that duality is endemic to the Gemini mindset.   As a Cancer, you exude warmth, kindness, and compassion. This Water sign is an excellent match for Lapras, who loves helping others by ferrying them across bodies of water. Lapras is also all too familiar with the pains of being a gentle, compassionate caretaker – the Pokémon was nearly driven to extinction by poachers because its docile nature made the species an easy target. As a Cancer, you know people sometimes take advantage of your kindness, too.

  Lapras is both a water and ice type. You'd be lying if you didn't admit that Cancers sometimes have a tendency to get a little icy when their feelings are hurt. They either explode (with a well-placed ice beam) or retreat inside of their shells. Cancers possess an almost superhuman sense of empathy, and Lapras is able to develop similar psychic abilities. The water Pokémon understands human speech, so you both can empathize with one another through telepathy.

  According to the Pokédex, many people are "enchanted by [Arcanine's] grand mane" and it's the stuff of legend; apparently, the brave Pokémon helped a general conquer an entire country at one time. While you may not be conquering an entire country on your own, Leo, your reputation certainly precedes you. You are a natural born leader and someone who loves attention. You know how to light up a room like Arcanine's flames but have a tendency to be a little bossy and overly dramatic (if a giant, fiery mane doesn't scream drama, what does?).

  As a Leo, you've got the sort of energy that makes people feel awake and energized. It never seems to run out. Arcanine has the same power. The Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Pokédex claims: "the fire that blazes wildly within this Pokémon’s body is its source of power." Same, right?

  Virgos are among the most intelligent, analytical people on the planet. Therefore it only makes sense to go with a Pokémon who has an IQ of 5,000 and is constantly calculating to give himself an edge. Alakazam is a super smart, psychic type Pokémon that barely fights with physical attacks. He uses his brain - which is so strong he can bend spoons and memorize literally anything; according to SoulSilver's Pokédex entry, Alakazam's brain cells multiply until he dies.

  Unfortunately, the anime has shown the Pokémon's smarts have led him to feel a little isolated – an experience you probably know a bit too well. You can feel isolated by your tendency to nit pick details and self-criticize until it's almost an obsession. Others can perceive you as overbearing, but your heart is a good, kind one, and Alakazam knows that.

  Libra craves harmony, peace and justice. They'd do whatever it takes to make sure their family and friends get along, and they really don't like to be alone. This is why Libras are a perfect match for Togepis – the happy, little fairy Pokémon so beloved by fans.

  Rumor has it that a Togepi's shell is filled with joy, but this joy can't exist without other people around. The adorable little nugget collects kindness, compassion, and joy exuded by happy people, and transforms it into happiness and stores these feelings in its shell for later use. It then gives out these good vibes to the sad people who need them, restoring the equilibrium.

  Libras also have the tendency to be codependent, and if Pokémon is to be believed, Togepi has near meltdowns when it's left alone. It also can't store up that much-needed happiness without surrounding itself with happy people in the first place, so the two are a perfect match.

  Scorpios tend to get an unnecessarily bad rap – probably because of their impressive powers of manipulation and intoxicating mystery. There is no Pokémon better to partner with a Scorpio than Mewtwo, a creature that literally has the power to take over someone's mind and make them do whatever it wants.

  Mewtwo was a villain in Pokémon: The First Movie, but it's not really its own fault. The Pokémon was crafted after years of horrific gene-splicing and its creators forgot to include a compassionate heart. On your worst days, Scorpio, you've got a tendency to be vengeful and cold, too. It takes you a long time to trust people, but once you do - like Mewtwo learned after almost annihilating the entire human race - it's really rewarding. Plus, Mewtwo is the most powerful Pokémon on the planet. Your charm and ability to manipulate makes you one of the most powerful star signs. Whether you use those powers for good or evil is up to you.

  Sagittarius loves to travel the world. You've got a happy, bouncy nature that's just waiting to discover meaning in the tiniest unexpected places, and Dragonite has a similar mindset. The dragon Pokémon can circle the globe in just 16 hours – and if you teach him Fly, he can take you along for the ride.

  Dragonite is also a really smart Pokémon. It's intelligence is said to match that of a human, and you have a tendency to be pretty wise. All in all, you love to learn new things and your extroverted nature leads you to help others. Dragonite is totally all about the charity work – he leads shipwrecked crews to safety, which is a pretty nice thing to spend your time doing when you could fly literally anywhere in the world.

  Even on your worst days, Dragonite is a perfect pal. You hate to hear "no" for an answer, and so does the generally kind-hearted Pokémon. According to the Sun Pokédex, once you "incur the wrath of this normally calm Pokémon," it will "smash everything to smithereens before it's satisfied." Whoops!

  Capricorns are marked by their cautious ambition and intense intelligence. Because of this, they'd find a great friend in Xatu. Xatu is a Pokémon paralyzed with knowledge and fear – it's said to sometimes sit completely motionless because its psychic abilities have allowed it to see all the horror the future holds and all the horror the past has already experienced.

  In the grimmest terms, Xatu can see your death, but it's also mighty helpful when you're running through that list of terrible possible outcomes you just know is going to happen. You've got a tendency to be a little pessimistic in your ambition, Capricorn, but you will succeed. Xatu knows the horrors that await you, so don't waste your time thinking about the negative stuff and focus purely on your path to success.

  Aquarius are rebels by nature; they are the tech disruptors who line Silicon Valley with the startup du jour and challenge modern science. All that considered, Aquarius are a perfect match for Porygon. This artificial Pokémon was created entirely from programming code and can freely move through cyberspace (Aquarius loves their freedom, too). Its advanced creators even copy-protected the little guy so he can't be hacked into and copied. Each Porygon is original.

  Porygon is an emblem of lofty scientific ambition, and Aquarius are known for their cutting-edge ideas. According to the Pokédex, people believe Porygon is the only Earth-based Pokémon that may one day be able to fly into space - it doesn't breath, after all. It's a living, moving piece of technology.

  On the worst days, Aquarius can be perceived as detached and aloof. Porygon knows this pretty well. He's just a string of complex programming and emotions aren't really his strong point, unless you want to program in a patch. If only everything was that easy.

  Pisces are sensitive dreamers marked by their compassion – kind of like Clefairy. Clefairy is a dreamy Pokémon who evolves into Clefable when exposed to the mysterious Moon Stone. This harmonious Pokémon just wants to dance with its friends under the full moon – kind of like you.

  Friends are important to Pisces, who suck up emotions like a sponge; apparently, so does Clefairy. It can only evolve from Cleffa after a heavy dose of friendship and good vibes. Pisces are also thought to hold psychic abilities and so do Clefairies, who can learn a number of psychic moves including Healing Wish. This move is everything a Pisces is - it sacrifices itself to heal a pal. Isn't that sweet?
