(#14) Frankford Slasher

From 1985 to 1990, at least eight people were sexually assaulted and stabbed to death in Frankford, PA. One suspect, Leonard Christopher, was connected to one of the murders and convicted, but police couldn't connect him to the other crimes.
(#28) Colonial Parkway Killer

Four couples were murdered in the 1980s by a killer who found his victims along the scenic Colonial Parkway in Virginia. Former law enforcement officer, Fred Atwell, has been linked to the crimes and has pleaded guilty to other felony offenses. However, his connection to the murders has not been definitively proven.

In West Mesa, the remains of 11 women were found in the desert. While the bodies were discovered in 2009, many of the victims had been missing for many years. Nobody was ever arrested for the crimes. Investigators have come up short regarding DNA and other evidence.

Over the past 30 years, thousands of indigenous women in British Columbia have gone missing. Dozens of these women have disappeared near Highway 16, a road in the middle of Canada's wilderness that has been sadly dubbed the "Highway of Tears." A man named Bobby Jack Fowler has been suspected of the crimes on Highway 16, but he has died and there is no concrete evidence pointing to his guilt.

In 1888, at least five sex workers in London were murdered by an unknown serial killer. Much of the information known about the killer known as Jack the Ripper is based on rumors and several letters from the alleged killer that appeared in London newspapers. It was widely believed the the Ripper was likely a doctor or a butcher, due to the precision of the mutilations.

In 1989, Calcutta, India, saw the murders of at least 13 people by a killer that was named the Stoneman by the media. Most of the victims were homeless beggars and were bludgeoned to death.
