(#1) Fraternizing With Unwed Mothers Is A No-No (Even If They Are Family)

The Duggar family’s beliefs on premarital sex are so extreme that they wouldn’t even allow their daughter (who works as a midwife) to help a family member who was pregnant out of wedlock. Susanna Keller got pregnant in 2012 and was ostracized for it.

What’s the difference between dating and courting? Well courting is dating with a purpose, which is something everyone may actually want to consider doing. While modern dating is all about “shopping around” and keeping your options open, courting is more about building a foundation for a real relationship between the individuals and their families with the goal of determining if they should marry or not.
