    The bassist and keyboardist of the Bee Gees died suddenly of cardiac arrest on January 12, 2003 at the age of 53.

    Samantha Gibb, born on July 2, 1980, is an accomplished singer-songwriter and musician based out of Miami, FL. She is currently the frontwoman of the band Samantha Gibb & The Big Cartel. In addition to collaborating with artists such as Cage the Elephant, the band also produced a documentary, A Nashville State of Mind. The band won Best International Documentary at the LA/NY International Independent Film and Music Festival. Samantha toured with her uncle, Barry Gibb, in Australia and New Zealand in 2013. 

    Adam Gibb has made several appearances of behalf of his late father. In 2003, he accepted an honorary Grammy Award on his behalf. His father was also honored in 2004 as a Commander of the British Empire; Adam accepted that honor as well. Adam's wife Elaine gave birth to their second child, Olivia Grace Gibb, on September 2, 2014.

    Barson Unique Jones, better known as Young Dirty Bastard, is the eldest son of Ol' Dirty Bastard. Following in his father's footsteps, YDB found success as a rapper and hip-hop artist. He toured with the Wu-Tang Clan during their 2007 tours, and released his debut album in 2011, Food Stamp Celebrity Vol. 1. After being signed to Wu Music Group in 2009, he performed with the remaining members of the Wu-Tang Clan on several tours, including the Rock The Bells tour. He was also featured on Lord Jamar's album, 5 Percent, and RZA's soundtracks for the films The Protector and Afro Samurai

    Ziggy Marley, born on October 17, 1968, is an accomplished musician and reggae artist. He is the band leader and lead singer of Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, who have released 13 successful albums as a group. Ziggy has also had great success as a solo artist, releasing eight successful albums over the past decade. He has also won multiple Grammy Awards.

    Damian Marley, born on July 21, 1978, has also found great success as a musician and reggae artist. Better known by his nickname, "Jr. Gong," Damian has kept his musical career in the family, working predominantly with his brother Stephen. Throughout his musical career, he has released six albums as a solo artist. Along with his brother Stephen as a producer, he received his first Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album for his work, The Halfway Tree. He achieved mainstream success with his next recording, Welcome to Jamrock, which reached number seven on the Billboard 200 chart and won a Grammy Award for Best Urban/Alternative Performance.

As a means of retracing her family legacy and her father's accomplishments, Galadrielle published a book on March 4, 2014, titled, Please Be With Me: A Song For My Father, Duane Allman. She researched the book for two years, interviewing friends, family, and band members of her late father.

Best known for her contribution to her dad's hit, "Valley Girl," Moon has gone on to appear on several television shows, such as Curb Your Enthusiasm, How I Met Your Mother, and Roseanne. Moon also authored the 2001 novel America, the Beautiful, and has contributed to The New York Times.

    Dweezil Zappa, born on September 5, 1969, is an accomplished rock guitarist and actor. He has appeared in films such as The Running Man and Pretty in Pink, and also worked as a VJ on MTV during the 1980s. In addition to his solo work, Dweezil has also contributed guitar work for artists such as Don Johnson, The Fat Boys, and "Weird Al" Yankovic. In 2006, he helped organize the "Zappa Plays Zappa" tour, featuring several young musicians playing his father's music. Since the 1990s, Dweezil has been working on a 75-minute guitar piece titled, "What the Hell Was I Thinking?" The song reportedly features about 35 famous guitar players such as Eddie Van Halen and Brian May, performing solos. 

    Ahmet Zappa, born on May 15, 1974, works as a writer, producer, and publisher. In 2006, he released his debut novel, titled The Monstrous Memoirs of a Mighty McFearless. The rights to the book were quickly snapped up by Disney. He is currently writing a sequel to the book - the rights have also been optioned to be adapted as a screenplay. Ahmet started his own film production company, Monsterfoot Productions and has gone on to create and sell many films, such as the 2012 film, The Odd Life of Timothy Green. He was married to actress Selma Blair from 2004-2006.

    Diva Zappa, born on July 30, 1979, is an accomplished artist and has appeared in several television and film roles. She has appeared in the films Anarchy TV, Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror, and National Lampoon's Pledge This! She also has appeared on television shows, such as Felicity, Brothers and Sisters, and The Mighty Boosh. Diva also runs her own business, Hand Made Beauty, a clothing line that she designs and creates. Her clothing is primarily knitted or crocheted, and consists of hats, ponchos, and skirts. A percentage of her sales goes to Creative Visions Foundation.

    Since 2010, Frances Bean has been working steadily as a visual artist. In July 2010, she debuted a collection of artwork titled, Scumf*ck, under the pseudonym "Fiddle Tim." Her first solo exhibition under her real name debuted in February 2013. 

    Frances Bean has been dating musician Isaiah Silva since 2010. They announced their engagement in October 2011.
