Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece, located in the Aegean Sea north of the Thermaic Gulf, from Greece’s second-largest city Thessaloniki about 100 km. Mount Olympus is made up of 52 peaks, the highest of which, “Mytikas”, stands for forwarding projection and is 2,917 metres above sea level.
