About This Tool
The three-person band Yo La Tengo from New Jersey is one of the few contemporary bands respected by serious music critics. The biggest reason lies in the adventurous eclecticism, independent attitude, and endless creative ambition they show in their music. They are most often regarded as the successor to the most respected and influential underground band in the United States, the legendary band the Velvet Underground.
In 1997, they released the classic album "I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One", which won worldwide acclaim. In the 20 years since its establishment in 1984, the band has created more than 12 studio albums. A large number of excellent works and unabated creative passion have made them extremely influential.
