(#2) Falcon's Missing Person Case
For those of you wondering why Anthony Mackie's Falcon didn't have a larger role in Age of Ultron need to look no further than Captain America: Winter Soldier. Falcon says that he has been busy with a 'missing person's case' which hints at the continued effort to find Bucky Barnes.

(#3) The Avengers Visit Wakanda
In Ultron's journey to acquire vibranium (the stuff that Captain America's Shield is made from), the robot villain takes a trip to acquire a shipment from Ulysses Klaue in the fictional African country of Wakanda. Those in the know are aware that Wakanda is the home to future Avenger Black Panther, and could possibly be the set location for his solo film. -
(#5) Thanos Becomes A Player
Marvel Fans have been been getting post credit scenes with Thanos - and explaining to our friends who Thanos is - for a while now. However, with Avengers: Age of Ultron's mid-credits scene, Thanos actually enters the fray. With Infinity Gauntlet in hand (just with less Infinity), Thanos looks like he will be taking manners into his own 'hand.' (See what I did there?!)

(#6) Klaue Looses An Arm
Remember that scene in Age of Ultron when the titular villain karate chops Gollum's arm off? Of course, this being a Marvel movie, it was leading into Andy Serkis' playing Klaue in (probably) the Black Panther movie. In the comics, Klaue's arm is replaced with sonic weapon and his clothes are replaced with the most hideously clashing jumpsuit.

(#9) Black Widow Is Worthy
In the popular What If? Age of Ultron #3, Thor is killed by Ultron and leaves his hammer for a worthy successor - Black Widow! She is able to prevent the end of the world and defeat Ultron as the new Goddess of Thunder. Perhaps the Natasha in Age of Ultron knows that she is able to weld the hammer and didn't need everyone else to know?

(#10) Cap's Poster Hangs In The Avengers Tower
Although it might be hard to spot, the 1940s era poster of Captain America selling war bonds hangs in the Avenger's penthouse suite. Eagle-eyed audience members are able to spot it over the shoulder of a character in a few scenes.
And remember: Language!

(#11) Cap's Kooky Quartet
Although the original Avengers line up may be the most recognizable, Iron Man/Hulk/Thor didn't stick around for long. It was in Avengers #18 that Cap's Kooky Quartet was introduced, featuring Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Hawkeye. These members have been consistent members of the team over the years and sure do resemble that group at the end of Age of Ultron.
-
(#12) Scarlet Witch's Fragile Nature
In the comics, Scarlet Witch has not been known as the most stable of the Avengers (see Avengers Disassembled and House of M). Avengers: Age of Ultron uses this element in Elizabeth Olsen's interpretation of the character. Remember her break down before Hawkeye gave her the pep talk? Or how about the scene at the end when she screams out and blasts all those Ultron drones?
-
(#14) Ultron's Crimson Cowl
Although it was a little throwaway moment in the film, when the Maximoff twins first meet Ultron he is draped in a sheer red cloth. Now, it could just be Ultron's flair for the dramatic or that he likes the way silk fees on his metal, but it's actually a reference to the comics in which he was first introduced as the Crimson Cowl. -
(#16) Jarvis Is My Co-Pilot
This one might be a bit of a stretch. After the cancellation of Joss Whedon's Firefly, the fan base blew up the market with merchandise remembering their favorite pilot: Hoban Washburne. One piece of popular merch is the license plate frame/stickers/decals that utilize the popular saying as "Wash Is My Copilot." In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Tony Stark has stickered the cabin of the Quinjet with a "Jarvis Is My Copilot" sticker - perhaps as a nod to Firefly fans.
