Creedence Clearwater Revival was the most beloved super rock band from the 1960s to the 1970s. Their music is rooted in the folk music of the southern United States. Early songs have a strong blues style, which has an important influence on Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sea Level, Dixie Chicken, ZZ Top, and other future bands.
