    • Camila thought she overheard Leroy Garrett talking about her, so she flipped out, yelling racial slurs at him and throwing furniture. But she wasn't sent home. She apologized on social media after the episode aired.

    • Laurel Stucky got in trouble for drunkenly insulting Eric "Big Easy" Banks on his size, and though she apologized on MTV.com, he confronted her at the reunion special saying she was insincere. 
    • This season famous The Challenge couple Cara Maria Sorbello and Abram Boise got together. 
    • Brad and Tori were the first married couple to compete on The Challenge
  • The Challenge: War of the Worlds (Season 33) on Random Season of 'The Challenge'

    • This season featured contestants from non-MTV shows, such as The Bachelor CanadaThe BacheloretteBig BrotherCelebrity Big Brother UKLove Island UKSurvivor TurkeyAmerican Ninja WarriorParty Down South, and Telenovelas.
    • Kyle Christie and Cara Maria Sorbello's fued was alive and well, with Cara's new boyfriend Paulie Calafiore going after Kyle whenever he could. This also dragged in Kyle's partner Mattie Lynn Breaux. The four went after each other at every opportunity.
    • Hunter Barfield and his parter Georgia Harrison sent Ashley Mitchell and her partner Chase McNary home first as revenge for Ashley taking the full prize on The Challenge: Final Reckoning and leaving him with nothing.
    • Stephen Bear got under everyone's skin, except for Georgia - whom he was dating despite having a girlfriend. Because of this, Hunter started gunning for Bear, even though Georgia immediately forgave him. She ugly cried when he was eventually sent home.

    Memorable moments:

    • Jay earned host T.J. Lavin's fury after refusing to drink the gross liquid in the "Don't Flip Your Lid" challenge. His refusal resulted in the team's disqualification, and he and Jenna losing out on $30,000.
    • Beloved vet Diem Brown collapsed during filming and had to be airlifted to a New York hospital, where she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. She passed away on November 14, 2014. This season of The Challenge was dedicated to her.
    • This season was also dedicated to Ryan Knight, who passed away on November 27, 2014.

She continued to insist it wasn't racist and claimed not to know why it was offensive before finally relenting on the reunion show.

    • Wes Bergmann, who had previously been engaged to Johanna Botta, who got with Kenny Santucci on The Island, was on the show with his new girlfriend, KellyAnne Judd. Johanna was on the show, too - as was KellyAnne's ex, Cohutta Grindstaff. 
    • Johanna actually threatened Wes that if threw challenges and cost her money, she would sell their former home (which was in her name), and keep all of the money. 
    • Veronica Portillo got together with Evan Starkman, because she thought it would get her a ticket to the final. It did not.
    • Tonya Cooley, Brad Fiorenza, and Darrell Taylor were all sent home outside of eliminations for fighting.
    • Shauvon Torres said she popped one of her breast implants after belly-flopping into the water in one of the challenges.

    • For the first time ever, there was only one winner.
    • This season introduced "grenades," which were given to the winners of the elimination rounds, and used to penalize other players during challenges.
    • The final winner also took home the leftover bank accounts of any eliminated players, in addition to the prize of $370,000.
    • Cara Maria got together with Kyle Christie.

    • Host T.J. Lavin calls the elimination in episode three the scariest one ever. Contestants have to grab balls out of a basket, and hold onto them while jumping off of a tiny platform in the jungle, 300 feet down. Theo King-Bradley commits the ultimate faux pas in T.J.'s eyes, and quits because he is too scared.
    •  Nelson and LaToya Jackson get together.
    • Ashley Kelsey and Dario Medrano begin a relationship.
    • On-off couple Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols fight throughout the season as usual.
    • There was a love triangle between Nicole Zanatta, Cara Maria, and Laurel Stucky.
    • A huge altercation breaks out after Camila and Cara Maria put chips under Ashley M. and Amanda Garcia's sheets.
