In 2005, Gucci Mane and his entourage were attacked by a group of men. He and his friends fired at their attackers, and one of them perished. He was initially charged with taking the man's life, though his actions were in self-defense. The case was eventually dropped due to insufficient evidence.
A rumor began spreading around the internet that when the judge asked if he was guilty, Gucci Mane responded, "B*tch, I might be." However, this rumor turned out to be false - it was a joke based on his song, "(Pillz) B*tch I Might Be."

Rapper Cassidy was held responsible for an incident in 2005 that ended in the demise of Desmond Hawkins.
He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 11 to 23 months behind bars.

In a botched robbery attempt, X-Raided and his crew took the life of a middle-aged woman named Patricia Harris in 1992.
He was sentenced to 31 years behind bars but, as of 2018, he is out on parole.

In 2003, Big Lurch was sentenced to life behind bars for murder and aggravated mayhem associated with the 2002 passing of Tynisha Ysais.
There were signs of mutilation to the woman's remains.

Mac Minister was convicted on charges related to the slaying of two men. He managed to evade police for a time, and was featured on America's Most Wanted.
He was eventually caught and sentenced to two life sentences without parole.
