When McCarthy made her hilarious appearance on Saturday Night Live alongside fellow Groundlings, she was praised not only for her funny antics, but for her professionalism. McCarthy completely memorized her lines for the performance, and didn't need a single cue card to remember. This is nearly unheard of in the Saturday Night Live world, considering most guests, even if they are actors, don't have the time to fully memorize their lines for a live performance.
