(#6) The Burrito Scene Was Based On A Real Story From The Writer
The scene where Amy (Rebel Wislon) gets hit with a burrito while trying to get gas for the bus was inspired by a real life incident from Pitch Perfect writer, Kay Cannon. In an interview with Collider, Cannon says, “In college, I was running on the side of a road with my boyfriend… Four dudes in a car came by, and one of them had a burrito and whipped it at me. It knocked me over, and I thought I had been shot. That was a real thing. I was like, 'I’ve been shot! Oh, my gosh!' I fell over. I was wearing this windbreaker and, when I looked down, it looked like my guts, but it was really just bean burrito.”

(#4) Why The Green Bay Packer's Cameo Happened - They Were Major Fans

In an interview with Vanity Fair, writer Kay Cannon stated, "They said, ‘If you put us in the sequel, we will practice, we will rehearse, we’ll take it as a serious thing. We’re athletes, this is what we do. We‘ll really work at it.'" Despite being a die-hard Bears fan, Cannon ended up making it work for the sequel: "You never imagine that the Green Bay Packers were going to be in something you wrote or singing ‘Bootylicious.’”
