Yeah, they really hate each other. There has been all sorts of drama between these two icons of the rap world, so much so that you could safely say they are the Alexis and Krystle of rap.
Like all great rivalries, the two started off as friends, even appearing together on the cover of The Source in 1997. However, similar styles, personal jealousies, and professional competition soon drove a wedge between them. And the beef is not just for show, either. These two despise one another.

Fans of Tyler and his crew, Odd Future, often suggest that the often disturbing lyrics featured in their songs are "all for show," and that in truth, every member of the group who gave us such perennial classics as "Kill People, Burn Sh*t, F*ck School" or "Deathcamp" are actually totally respectable members of society.
In 2015, the rapper found out that breaking the law has consequences, even if it's all in good fun. While playing a show at South By Southwest in Austin, Tyler noticed that a group of fans who hadn't been let into the show were amassing just outside the chain-link fence of the venue.
Tyler reportedly encouraged fans to push through the gate so that they could join the crowd, and even successfully persuaded the audience to begin chanting "PUSH, PUSH, PUSH." The fans outside the venue listened, and before long the fence came down.
For obvious reasons, the owners of the venue weren't quite as down with the idea that "music should be free." In response to the flood of non-ticketholders, the sound system was quickly turned off. However, this only riled the fans up more, and before long a full-scale riot was in progress.
Allegedly, the fans became so violent that the venue was forced to turn the sound back on so Tyler could finish his set. Although he got his way, Tyler was still held accountable for the incident. A few days later, police arrested the rapper while he was boarding a flight, and slapped him with a Class A Misdemeanor and a $25,000 fine for "causing an immediate danger and injury to persons."

In another rap-star-pop-princess-pairing, rapper Ricky Hil and singer Rita Ora used to date. They were actually a couple for a year, having gotten together after Ora broke up with Calvin Harris.

In April 2002, rapper Big Lurch (born Antron Singleton) was found in the street naked and covered in blood, high on PCP. Back at his house, the body of his friend, Tynisha Ysais, was discovered, torn open and partially devoured.
When Singleton was examined at the hospital, doctors found pieces of human flesh in his stomach. Despite the evidence linking him to the crime, Singleton hatched a conspiracy theory and many fans believed in his innocence. The courts, however, did not, and he is currently serving life in prison.
