(#2) An IV Drip
From Redditor /u/Jux_:
If there's a place around you where you can get a saline IV drip, that's pretty bomb.
I was once an insurance underwriter and these people in Las Vegas applied for commercial business insurance for their new "rapid hangover response unit." Their idea was that you would wake up hungover in Vegas, call them, and they would send a few sexy nurses to your place with IV's of saline, B vitamins, and other stuff to get you back on your feet. I thought the idea was genius, but [that particular company seemed shady.]

(#3) Pickle Juice
From Redditor/u/rexlibris:
Do shots of pickle juice, you'll feel better and it's tasty.
-
(#4) Beef Broth Soup
From Redditor/u/Mahogany651:
Pho soup.
It's a beef broth soup with rice noodles. Comes with thai basil, lime, fish sauce, hoisin sauce, and bean sprouts. It's also dirt cheap.
There's a huge Hmong community in Minnesota and there's dozens of places to choose from. Within a couple miles. If you're lucky enough to have it in your area it always does me right!

(#5) Irn Brue, Sausages, And Scones
From Redditor/u/hutchero:
Irn Bru [a Scottish soft drink], ideally a glass bottle, ice cold. Square sausage and [two] potato scone rolls - then retire to the sofa.
-
(#6) Bloody Mary And Kimchi Sandwiches
From a former Redditor:
Kimchi on a breakfast sandwich and Bloody Mary. If you can keep it down you feel way better afterwards. The salt helps with the dehydration and the shot of vodka helps with the murderous alcohol withdrawal. Plus kimchi is delicious.
-
(#7) Chicken Noodle Soup
- Food
From Redditor /u/t0aster:
Hot chicken noodle soup. Replenishes salt and fluids while the warmth settles your stomach. The noodles are easy to digest, and the protein in chicken chunks may help replenish the substrates that run the aldehyde dehydrogenase. I usually salt the soup a bit heavier, and eat with a piece of bread to help make the soup last longer in the stomach.

(#8) McDonald's
- Brand/Company
From Redditor /u/celizg:
Chocolate milk and hash browns from McDonald's. Sounds horrible but works every time.

(#10) An Eggy Cocktail
From Redditor/u/sw4ahl:
Prairie oyster. [Raw egg, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and/or hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Some folks also add tomato juice.]
-
(#11) Ramen And Energy Drinks
From a former Redditor:
Ramen noodles and an energy drink - the caffeine in the energy helps for some reason and the broth in the ramen really hydrates you.
-
(#12) Tuna Bagels And A Touch Of Vodka
From Redditor/u/soakinatub:
Tomato juice over ice with lots of ground pepper and a toasted bagel smeared with tuna fish. If you're up for it... Speed up the recovery by adding pepper vodka to the tomato juice, and stir with a stalk of celery. Eat the celery, too, of course.
-
(#13) The Salty Banana Combo
From Redditor /u/poscaps:
-
Tablesalt (a few good pinches)
-
A banana (for carbs)
-
Some lukewarm Pedialyte (it's easier to down than cold Pedialyte)
-
Full sodium V8 (for more salt and potassium)
Must take before bed and it will help offset the extreme dehydration that happens which for me is the biggest part of the hangover effects.

(#14) Empty The Stomach And Then Replenish
From a former Redditor:
Milk, crack an egg into a cup with some powdered mustard and hot sauce. That empties your stomach. Next, hydrate, water and anything with electrolytes. Boom, hangover cure.
-
(#15) Salty Water
From Redditor /u/ShigglyB00:
A while back, my old chemistry teacher taught me a little trick he found out and I've always found it to work great! He told me that when you're about to go to bed when you're wasted, if you drink a glass of water that has a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper in it, it balances out the chemicals that are in your stomach in some fancy science way, so when you wake up, you have nothing much more than a dry mouth.
I do it every time I remember to when I'm out drinking, and I wouldn't say it's a perfect cure, but it certainly takes a massive edge off of it. I woke up this morning feeling a little dizzy and a craving for fizzy juice.

(#16) Kombucha
- Tea
From Redditor /u/ladyblackcherry:
Kombucha! I worked next to a Kombucha place and learned lots about it, and its honestly the best hangover cure ever. Caffeine, Electrolytes, extra hydrating, etc. It's definitely a hippie/naturalist shop sorta thing, but its magical.
