According to IB Times, an "ironclad" adultery clause would award Jolie primary custody of the children if Pitt were ever to waver in his devotion and seek out another woman.
Why they did it: Brangelina seem like one of the most stable Hollywood couples around. Considering the two waited so long to tie the knot, a strict and comprehensive prenup seemed smart in dealing with their multi-million dollar assets. What the deal is: After meeting and marrying Larry Fortensky, a construction worker 20 years her junior who she met in rehab, Liz Taylor drew up quite an odd contract. According to Time Magazine, the prenup stated that if the couple remained married for five years (regardless of a divorce or not), then Taylor would pay Fortensky $1 million. Low and behold, can you guess how long the marriage lasted? Five years...
Why she did it: Elizabeth Taylor has been married a whopping eight times (twice to the same man, Richard Burton). Known for being a serial wife, one would think the Hollywood starlet would start guarding her assets to ensure she wasn't losing anything. Unfortunately, the actress's prenup wasn't in her best interest, and she buckled in favor of a much younger man. -

What the deal is: When Charlie Sheen tied the knot with Brooke Mueller, his third ex-wife, he also signed an incredibly lengthy prenup. Just for marrying Sheen, Mueller gained $500,000 as well as an annual gift of $300,000 for the first 10 years of their marriage. Mueller also locked into shares of Sheen's home, as well as the rest of his property. She also reportedly added a $5 million "straying fee" in the case that Douglas is unfaithful to her, something many believe the actress is worried about. But Douglas added an extra clause to the clause, stating Zeta-Jones isn't allowed to discuss their personal, marital matters to the public.
Why she did it: Zeta-Jones is a big fan of the prenup business. In fact, she thinks the contracts are "brilliant." "I get taken care of quite well," she added. Zeta-Jones tacked on her own agreement when she married her husband and it doesn't appear she regrets a thing. Lucky for Douglas, the two are still happily married. -

What the deal is: Although Katie Holmes didn't make out with much, it looks like Suri will really reap the benefits of her mega-millionaire dad, Tom Cruise. Holmes, who was denied spousal support, will receive a yearly child support payment of $400,000, according to TMZ. Cruise is also set to pay for all of Suri's extra-curricular activities, schooling, medical, dental, and future university endeavors.
Why she did it: You know the Church of Scientology isn't going to let their precious Tom Cruise go under for the woman they likely recruited into this whole mess. Holmes never asked much from Cruise, and the prenup definitely reflects that. Some say the prenup was her idea, but there's no doubt Cruise had some heavy-handed lawyers in the room as well. -

What the deal is: Roseanne Barr staunchly refused to have a prenup drawn when she fell head over heels for actor Tom Arnold. Barr even fired her attorney after her repeated suggestions that she reconsider. Low and behold, four years later the two separated in a nasty divorce. Arnold's drug and alcohol abuse made Barr's marriage to him a living nightmare. And the worst part is that he walked out with a crisp $50 million.
