For decades, many gay stars have tended to keep this secret alone out of fear that their gay identity will destroy their personal lives or careers. Due to the advancement of ideas and the legalization of same-sex marriage in more countries, the LGBTQ+ community is no longer taboo, and some celebrities choose to come out in their later years.
