(#12) She Once Planned To Convert To Judaism

In 2012, Tequila actually planned to convert to Judaism. She told TMZ that she started taking classes at a temple in New York. She explained, "As time passed, I started to become more and more fascinated with Kabbalah, the culture, and the way of life of the reform Judaism religion."

A year later, Tequila began posting anti-Semitic content.
(#8) Her Explicit Tape Won An Award At The AVNs In 2015

In 2015, Tequila won the award at the AVN Awards, which is considered the adult industry's equivalent to the Academy Awards.

Tequila had another tape that came out in 2009. However, she claimed at the time of its release on the internet that the footage was taken off her laptop. The speculation is that she made both tapes around the same time but only released the second one after she grabbed headlines for posting her controversial manifesto.

In May 2017, Tequila posted a 23-minute YouTube video stating that she signed a contract that she believes made her God. "Whether it’s Jesus, Allah … Yeshwah or whatever …" Tequila said. "My dumb*ss self, I signed this contract without reading the fine print because I’m lazy like that. I signed my soul away to become God without reading the fine print."

Although Tequila admitted that she was not exactly certain of all the terms in the contract, she did say that she was ready to start using her new powers to help people. She goes on to say that she now has the power to do things like abolish debt and taxes and take control of the world.

"You guys have to live inside whatever it is I create," Tequila said. "Whether I want WWIII to happen or not. I do, so it will happen."
(#11) She Was Booted Off Of 'Big Brother' Because Of Her Views

Tequila only spent one night at the Big Brother UK house before getting kicked off the reality show in 2015. Criticism erupted regarding the former model after she posted a picture of herself wearing an SS uniform and standing in front of the Auschwitz concentration camp.

The people at Big Brother UK claimed that they did not know about Tequila's controversial views: "When they were brought to our attention, she was called to the Diary Room for a discussion with producers and was subsequently removed from the house. The views Tila had expressed, and permitted to remain uncorrected, are totally unacceptable and, accordingly, her continued involvement in the programme was untenable."

In 2009, Tequila became engaged to Casey Johnson, an heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical empire. The couple only knew each other for about one month before getting engaged. Johnson passed in December 2009 at the age of 30 after failing to take her diabetes medication.

Many of Johnson's friends accused Tequila of trying to cash in on Johnson's passing.

In 2012, Tequila was hospitalized after an accidental OD. She also suffered a brain aneurysm.

"I can remember feeling like the bones were popping out the side of my head [because] the pain was so bad. I took some medications and tried to go for a nap, but when I woke up I was vomiting," she explained.

Tequila's roommate found her and called 911. After a hospital stay, Tequila spent one month in a treatment facility.

After the 30 day program, Tequila said that she felt better than ever. "Honestly, I feel like I have been reborn...I got excellent treatment and I did a total detox of all substances and medications. This was really tough but I managed to do it."
