Why They Deserved Revenge: So this story is a bit odd, because no one knows who planned this revenge. But David Otero (the man who was revenged upon) thinks it's because he "has a boat" and is "a follower of Jesus Christ." Fine. Whatever.
How They Did It: An ad was placed anonymously on Los Angels Craigslist saying that Otero was giving away a bunch of household items that needed to be gone ASAP.
The Aftermath: Otero ended up locking himself in his house, and "staying away from the windows." Unfortunately the police said the post was completely legal. -

Why They Deserved Revenge: Chirag Kothari was trying to buy a Nissan with his 19-year-old autistic brother-in-law. During the sale the salesmen were super rude to him and tried to rush the two off of their lot.
How They Did It: Kothari posted a pic of the dealership's lame quote, scribbled on scratch paper, online, and when the dealership contacted him he responded with a scribbly note of his own, (click through to see the note).

How They Did It: The master improvisor decided to have some fun with the con men and ended up chatting with them for about 20 minutes until they gave up their names, and info, which he then reported to Bank of America, and presumably the police.
