What’s especially unique about Bistrot La Renaissance in Paris is that its interior has barely changed since it first opened in 1905.
This rare authenticity is likely why Quentin Tarantino used it for multiple scenes in Inglourious Basterds, including one especially memorable scene when Shosanna (Melanie Laurent) speaks with Frederick (Daniel Bruhl).

(#19) 21 Club - ‘Wall Street’
During Prohibition, 21 Club was a speakeasy opened by two cousins on West 52nd Street in New York City. They even built an infamous wine cellar to hide alcohol during police raids that today serves as an exclusive private dining room.
During the Wall Street boom of the 1980s, 21 Club became a major hotspot where brokers would have power lunches, so it was only fitting that scenes from the 1987 film Wall Street were filmed there. In the movie, Gordon (Michael Douglas) takes Bud (Charlie Sheen) to 21 Club.

(#7) Cicada Restaurant - 'Pretty Woman'
In one memorable scene from Pretty Woman, Vivian (Julia Roberts) struggles to display proper fancy restaurant etiquette while Edward (Richard Gere) tries to make a business deal. After Edward orders her snails while she’s in the restroom, Vivian can’t figure out how to eat them and accidentally ends up flinging one across the room.
Known as The Voltaire during filming, the restaurant is now named Cicada and it’s located in downtown Los Angeles.

(#2) Top Notch - ‘Dazed And Confused’
At the beginning of Dazed and Confused, the whole crew stops by Top Notch to grab burgers before a night out on the town.
"I swore to God I'd never come to a Top Notch, and here I am sorting through jalapeno burgers and soggy fries," Tony (Anthony Rapp) complains, just as David (Matthew McConaughey) rolls up next to them with a classic “alright, alright, alright!”
The real Top Notch is located in Austin, TX, and has maintained its old-school, 1970s aesthetic.

(#1) Randy’s Donuts - ‘Iron Man 2’
Los Angelenos likely already know Randy’s Donuts as a classic landmark building in Inglewood that they pass going to or from LAX airport. It’s pretty hard to miss, especially due to the 32-foot-tall doughnut that sits on the roof.
Originally built in 1953, Randy’s Donuts appears in Iron Man 2 when Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) hangs out inside the sign while eating a box of doughnuts.

(#5) The Dresden Restaurant - ‘Swingers’
The Dresden Restaurant is an extra-famous lounge in Los Angeles that has been featured in a number of films, including Swingers, What Women Want, That Thing You Do, and Anchorman, to name a few. It’s known for its dim lighting and mysterious, moody ambiance, having first opened in 1954 on Vermont Avenue in LA’s Los Feliz neighborhood.
It has such a retro vibe that one Yelp review noted, “Walking into The Dresden is like walking back in time.”
