Arata manages to convince her to let him keep it - but in exchange, he'll enroll in the Royal Biblia Academy, where he'll learn what he needs to learn if he wants to figure out what's going on and save his hometown.

After being attacked by a Savage, Hayato Kisaragi boasts incredible compatibility with this weapon. He's asked to train at Little Garden, a military academy devoted to the destruction of the Savage.
His incredible skill makes him the object of affection for many of the girls in his new school.

After losing his life while investigating a suspicious house, Ayumu Aikawa is revived as a zombie. His first goal is to hunt down the person who ended him, but in the process he meets Haruna, a strange girl in a magical girl outfit attacking a bear with a chainsaw. When she tries to wipe his memory, he ends up absorbing her powers instead.
Stripped of the abilities Haruna needs to fight dangerous creatures called Megalo, she recruits Ayumu to do the job for her.

(#21) Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends

Kodaka Hasegawa is hoping to make friends at his new school. Instead of giving him a chance, they immediately write him off as a delinquent because of his blonde hair and intimidating features.
He bands together with fellow loner Yozora Mikazuki and creates the Neighbor's Club, a group dedicated to people who don't have any friends. Their activities involve building social skills needed to make friends with others, as well as forming bonds with each other.
