"I swore to God I'd never come to a Top Notch, and here I am sorting through jalapeno burgers and soggy fries," Tony (Anthony Rapp) complains, just as David (Matthew McConaughey) rolls up next to them with a classic “alright, alright, alright!”
The real Top Notch is located in Austin, TX, and has maintained its old-school, 1970s aesthetic.

(#17) L Street Tavern - ‘Good Will Hunting’
In Good Will Hunting, L Street Tavern is the go-to spot for Will (Matt Damon) and Chuckie (Ben Affleck) to drink and hang out with their friends. It’s also where Will introduces them to Skyler (Minnie Driver).
The real South Boston bar was actually handpicked by director Gus Van Sant for its authenticity. And let’s face it, if you’re going to South Boston, you’re going to want to stop by a real-deal Irish pub.

(#10) Katz’s Delicatessen - ‘When Harry Met Sally’
The iconic eatery is the location of one of the most famous scenes in movie history, where the hilarious quotable, “I’ll have what she’s having,” was first uttered. In May 2019, Katz’s Delicatessen celebrated the 30th anniversary of the release of When Harry Met Sally with a movie screening, reenactment contest, and food and merch packages.
But Katz’s was a big deal long before the movie came to be, as the popular deli first opened on Houston Street in New York City in 1888.

What’s especially unique about Bistrot La Renaissance in Paris is that its interior has barely changed since it first opened in 1905.
This rare authenticity is likely why Quentin Tarantino used it for multiple scenes in Inglourious Basterds, including one especially memorable scene when Shosanna (Melanie Laurent) speaks with Frederick (Daniel Bruhl).

The restaurant is also known as the Shawarma Palace, and many fans likely remember the joke from The Avengers that gets called back in a post-credit scene at the end of the film. The scene was so memorable that shawarma restaurants saw a noticeable spike in sales following the release of the movie.
The real name of the shawarma place was Elat Burger during filming, but it has since been bought by Shalom Grill and is open for business in Los Angeles.
