Thanos's Son Puts Him In A State Of Living Death
[ranking: 15]
Thanos finds himself involved in a lot of patricide, both as the culprit and victim. Considering he also has a tendency towards filicide, it seems fair that one of his sons should take him out. Enter Thane.
In Thanos: A God Up There Listening, Thane gives the Mad Titan a taste of his own medicine by trapping him in a state of living death. Is it actually patricide if it's a "living death?" That's for the philosophers to decide. Regardless, Thanos's kid essentially kills him.

Thanos Puts Cyclops In A Block And Suffocates Him To Death
[ranking: 8]
As half the people in the universe were killed during the Infinity Gauntlet arc, it should come as no surprise that some of them were heroes. In a fight where Thor is turned to glass, Wolverine has his bones and adamantium removed, and Spider-Man is beaten to death with a rock, Cyclops also meets a colorfully ruthless end. Thanos manifests a "clear block of force" around Cyclops's head, cutting off oxygen and suffocating the X-Man to death.
