In fact, if you look at history, you’ll find that Somali people really hates Americans. In the early days, the United States sent peacekeeping forces to Somalia to intervene and govern with a strong hand, which caused a great deal of resentment in the Somali people. Add to that the fact that many Americans have violated Muslim religious practices in Somalia, and there are some style issues, and some propaganda by local warlords and the Somali people has turned against the Americans. For economic reasons, many of the Somali people pirates were captured by the United States, or smuggled into the United States, and there were many Somalis living in the United States.
This random tool lists 55 prominent Somali Americans from all walks of life who have moved to the United States for various reasons, but who have also come to embrace the open culture and education of the United States and a place in the profession that I love.
