About This Tool

The existence of poetry has nothing to do with nationality, the size of a country, wealth, or poverty. It exists only in the individual poet. The literature of ancient Slovakia is closely related to the ancient Slavic culture. Each era represented poetry and poets are different, but also reflects the state of the country at that time, as well as the poet's complex feelings and so on. This random tool compiles a list of 33 outstanding Slovakian poets from different periods for further examination by interested friends.

These poets represent the development of different times. Through the generator, we can see the poets represented in Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism, Realism, and so on. They have their own feelings and thoughts, and express their feelings and hopes and reposes for the country through their poems. Their works, many of which are published internationally and translated into other languages, are a source of pride for Slovakia.
