About This Tool

Task Force O was the Navy unit responsible for landing at Omaha Beach during the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944. This task force is highly skilled in combat, has many excellent elite soldiers, they are well-trained, with a wealth of combat experience. The U. S. Government equipped them with many of the world’s leading combat equipment, to facilitate their early victory in the war. This random tool recorded information about 37 ships that were then manned by the US government.

All the ships recorded in the generators belong to the U.S. Navy or United States Coast Guard. We can see that the corresponding task forces are grouped into specific groups and are divided into LST Unit, Landing Craft, APA/LSI (L) Unit and so on according to different operational plans. Different units are equipped with different boats for use by soldiers of different characteristics. These ships later formed a large fleet of warships of the United States Navy, which contributed greatly to the wars that followed.
