About This Tool

In order to enable the astronauts to land safely and the satellites to land smoothly, the Royal Air Force has built 49 special landing sites for the satellites, which are divided into land, sea and airport, these require very complex systems to support, and achieve the surrounding environment for many large-scale field survey. Whether it is the altitude position, or the current magnetic field and other effects, we must do the most accurate calculation.

Royal Air Force satellite landing sites were built at different times, as early as 1940, the United Kingdom has the ability to launch satellites. Random tools generate these famous landing sites, some of which are still in use, some of which have been abandoned and become famous tourist attractions. You can see the exact coordinates of the landing sites, the name of the site, the construction date, and the units that were built at the time.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Royal Air Force Satellite Landing Grounds.
