About This Tool

Under Elizabeth, the Privy Council was cut to keep it under 20. Moreover, she did not want the privy council officials to agree that they would put pressure on themselves if they did. Since her accession in 1952, the Privy Council has been bureaucratized and independent, and has become more interested in the interests of the state than the king alone.

A total of 1,291 privy council advisers were appointed during this period, and the list is recorded in a random tool. During this time, the generator keeps a list of consultants who are hired each year, along with their dates of birth and death. But under Elizabeth, Seven Privy Council advisers resigned, and four others were sentenced to prison terms for criminal convictions, and the advisers did not farewell.
