About This Tool

There have been several boycotts of the Olympic Games in history, almost all because of unstable political relations between countries and distrust among national leaders, or because of a conflict of interest they don’t want to see each other at the Olympics. The 138 events, notably the 1980 Summer Olympics and the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, were collected by random tools.

And through the generator, we know very well that the first boycott took place at the 1956 Summer Olympics. The countries that were at odds with each other, and the main reasons for that, are well documented in this random tool. The premise of the Olympic Games is peace and friendly development. Replacing sports with politics only complicates things and makes them meaningless.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Olympic Games boycotts.
