About This Tool

A lot of people wonder what is the highest GDP city in Africa? It’s not Egypt or Angola, it’s Nigeria. In 2018, because of inflation, Nigeria’s nominal GDP grew much faster than it actually did, making it the largest city in Africa.

Rivers State, Lagos State and Delta State have historically contributed the most to Nigeria’s GDP, with Rivers State accounting for 15 per cent, Lagos State for 12 per cent, the Delta for 10 per cent and the three states for 37 per cent. The random tool details the GDP of 36 different Nigerian states in 2017, as well as the converted dollar units. For those of you who are interested in the Nigerian economy, please use the generator to study these GDP growth rates

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Nigerian states by GDP.
