About This Tool

The New Zealand Labor Party is one of the two major political parties in New Zealand today. The Labor Party describes itself as a center-left, socialist-oriented party. The Labour Party was founded in 1916 as a merger of several different left-leaning parties.

In 1919, the Labour Party won eight seats in its first election. Since then, Labour’s number of seats has grown. By 1935, under the leadership of Mikell, he had won the general election, forming New Zealand’s first Labour government. The random tool generated a list of 310 well known New Zealand Labour Party delegates, including the exact time they first joined the party, voters, and the start of the left leaning. This is very important and will help you to have a more complete understanding of New Zealand’s overall party politics.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of New Zealand Labour Party MPs.
