About This Tool

During the half century in which baseball was divided by a line of colors, black Americans created a world of their own. The blacks played on city and country courts, and the best barns raced across the country and across the Caribbean.

A century ago, on February 13,1920, eight teams and cities officially formed the Black National League. Although Major League Baseball was segregated from the 1890s until 1947, these teams played countless interracial games in communities across the country. The random tool generated a total of 139 items, recording specific lists of Negro League baseball players. These great black athletes made their mark on the annals of history with their victories.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Negro league baseball players.
