Indiana is an east-central state in the United States. It is bordered by Lake Michigan in the northwest, Michigan in the north, Ohio in the East and Illinois in the West. Just south of Ohio River, across from Kentucky. East-west 257 km wide, north and south 451 km long, rectangular. With an area of 93,993 square kilometers, it ranks 38th among the 50 states.
