About This Tool

In 1897, the first French documentary appeared in Morocco. In the 35 years from 1919 to 1954, the French made a total of nearly 50 feature films in Morocco, most of which were based on myths. The Moroccan Film Centre and the Film Studio were established in 1944. After Morocco’s independence in 1956, the center was placed under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Publicity and began making documentaries and short films in 1958, “The school is our friend”(1957, L. Benchik), “the body and the steel”(1959, M. Aftab), “Casablanca”(1964, L. Benchik).

Moroccan films are also very popular internationally, and several have been shortlisted for the Most Popular International Film Festival Award. The random tool generated 58 items, recording the name of the movie, Release Date, director, and movie type. Popular items like 475, a Mile in My Shoes, a Thousand Months, Aida, etc. are stored in the generator. If you love Moroccan movies, this is a great list.
