(#1) Catelyn Stark

Catelyn Tully was born into the House Tully of Riverrun. She is the wife of Eddard Stark and mother to Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Rickon Stark. Catelyn Stark appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is played by Michelle Fairley in the Game of Thrones TV series.
After her husband Ned Stark was killed at the request of King Joffrey, Catelyn aids her son Robb in his quest to become King of the Seven Kingdoms. She is murdered, along with her son Robb, by the men of Lord Walder Frey at the "Red Wedding."

Lysa Arryn is the daughter of Hoster Tully and Minisa Whent and wife of Jon Arryn. She appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is played by Kate Dickie on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
At the urging of Petyr Baelish, Lysa poisons her husband, Jon Arryn, Hand of the King to Robert Baratheon, and tells her sister Catelyn Stark that she suspects the Lannisters murdered him. Lysa marries Petyr, but when she attacks her niece Sansa Stark in a fit of jealousy and attempts to push her through the Moon Door to her death, Petyr intervenes and pushes Lysa through the door instead. Sansa and Petyr then cover up the murder as a suicide.

Edmure Tully is the son of Hoster Tully and Minisa Whent, brother of Catelyn and Lysa. He appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is played by Tobias Menzies on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Edmure marries the daughter of Lord Walder Frey in an attempt to mend fences after Robb Stark broke a vow to marry one of the Frey girls. His wedding celebration became known as the "Red Wedding" after Robb Stark and Catelyn Tully were betrayed and murdered at the command of Lord Frey. Thereafter he is held as a hostage by Lord Frey. Later, Jaime Lannister convinces Edmure to surrender Riverrun to Frey and Lannister forces.
Status: Alive(#4) Hoster Tully
Hoster Tully is the Lord of Riverun and the father of Edmure, Catelyn, and Lysa Tully. He appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is mentioned on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Hoster was bedridden for much of the time of the series and he later dies. His daughter Catelyn Tully and grandson Robb Stark both attend his funeral.
Status: Deceased (Season 3)(#5) Minisa Whent
Minisa Whent was the wife of Hoster Tully and mother of Catelyn, Lysa, and Edmure Tully. She died before the setting of the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Minisa died during childbirth, along with the child.

Roslin Frey is the daughter of Walder Frey and wife of Edmure Tully. She appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is played by Alexandra Dowling on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Roslin is married to Edmure Tully at the "Red Wedding." The pair only spend one night together before Edmure is thrown in the dungeon as Lord Walder Frey's hostage, but Jaime Lannister assures Edmure that Roslin has born him an infant son.

Brynden Tully (AKA "the Blackfish") is a knight and the brother of Lord Hoster Tully. He appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is played by Clive Russell on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Brynden Tully was a trusted adviser to Robb Stark. He left his nephew Edmure's wedding to relieve himself and so he avoided being slaughtered along with much of his family at the "Red Wedding." After Edmure is taken prisoner by Walder Frey, Brynden retakes Riverrun and defends it. He dies resisting the Freys and Lannisters when they retake the castle.

Eddard "Ned" Stark is the Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North. He appears in the first book in the Song of Ice and Fire series as well as in Season 1 of Game of Thrones, played by Sean Bean. Ned Stark is married to Catelyn Tully and is father to Robb, Sansa, Arya, Bran, Rickon and the bastard Jon Snow.
Ned served as the King's Hand to Robert Baratheon. He had knowledge that Robert's children with Queen Cersei Lannister were in fact the illegitimate children of Cersei and her twin brother, Jaime. Ned Stark confronted Queen Cersei with this information, and after Robert Baratheon died in a drunken hunting accident, Cersei had Stark arrested on charges of treason. He was eventually executed at the request of the new King Joffrey and his head was placed on a spike for all to see.

Jon Arryn is the husband of Lysa Tully and Hand of the King serving Robert Baratheon. He appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is portrayed by Sir John Standing on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Jon Arryn supposedly dies of a fever at the start of the series, though is it later revealed that he was poisoned by his wife, Lysa Arryn. Eddard Stark succeeds his position as Hand of the King.

Petyr Baelish (AKA Littlefinger) is the Master of Coin serving Robert Baratheon. He appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and is played by Aidan Gillen on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Tywin Lannister arranges a marriage between Lord Baelish and Lysa Tully, although Baelish long had feelings for her sister, Catelyn. Tywin later marries Lysa himself and kills her shortly thereafter, becoming regent to his stepson, Robin, the Lord Paramount, who is still a boy.

Robb Stark was married to Jeyne Westerling and is the eldest child of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully. He appears in several of the books in the A Song of Ice and Fire series and he is played by Richard Madden on the Game of Thrones TV Series.
After his father is killed at the request of King Joffrey, Robb declares himself "King of the North." He fights in a series of battles in an attempt to become King of the Seven Kingdoms. He is killed, along with his mother and wife, by Walder Frey at the "Red Wedding."

Sansa Stark is the daughter of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully. She appears in several of the Song of Ice and Fire books and is played by Sophie Turner on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Sansa was betrothed to Joffrey Baratheon. After King Robert dies and Joffrey orders that her father Eddard Stark be killed, Sansa becomes a ward of the Lannisters. Eventually, Sansa's marriage to Joffrey is called off and instead she marries Tyrion Lannister. After Joffrey's death, Sansa flees King's Landing, assisted by Petyr Baelish (Littlefinger). Baelish arranges her marriage to the terrible Ramsay Bolton, who tortures Sansa. Sansa flees Bolton, joins her half-brother Jon Snow, and later executes Ramsay.

Arya Stark is the daughter of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully. She appears in several of the Song of Ice and Fire books and is played by Maisie Williams on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Arya is strong, capable and wise beyond her years. Bent on avenging the murders of her father, mother, and brother, she joins an elite assassins' guild, the House of Black and White, and maintains a "kill list' of people she plans on murdering.

Bran Stark is the son of Eddard Stark and Catelyn Tully. He appears in several of the Song of Ice and Fire books and is played by Isaac Hempstead-Wright on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Bran witnesses Queen Cersei making love to her twin brother, Jaime Lannister. Jaime pushes Bran out of a tower window in an attempt to silence the boy; Bran is paralyzed, but does not die. After his father is killed and Theon captures Winterfell, Bran sets off on a journey on which he learns that he is the new Three-Eyed Raven, a powerful mystic.

Rickon Stark is the youngest child of Eddard and Catelyn Stark. He appears in several of the Song of Ice and Fire books and is played by Art Parkinson on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
After his father killed at the request of King Joffrey and Theon captures Winterfell, Rickon escapes and goes into hiding. He and his brother Bran are widely believed dead. Rickon is captured and later murdered by Ramsay Bolton.
Status: Deceased (Season 6)(#16) Jeyne Westerling/Talisa Maegyr
Jeyne Westerling is the daughter of Gawen Westerling and Sybell Spicer. She appears in several of the A Song of Ice and Fire books and she is replaced by the similar character named Talisa Maegyr, played by Oona Chaplin, on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Jeyne nurses the wounds of Robb Stark after a battle and the two quickly fall in love and are secretly married. In doing so, Robb breaks a vow to marry one of the daughters of Walder Frey. She is later murdered at the "Red Wedding," along with her unborn child.
Status: Deceased (Season 3)(#17) Maester Vyman
Vyman is a maester serving the House Tully at Riverrun. He appears in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, but has yet to appear on the HBO show Game of Thrones.
Maester Vyman gives Catelyn the tragic letter that informs her that her sons Bran and Rickon were killed by Theon Greyjoy.

About This Tool
House Tully is a relatively weak family in the fantasy novel A Song of Ice and Fire. It is the chief family living in the Kingdom of the Riverlands and the Iron Islands and the ruler of the Trident River Basin. Its home is Riverrun.
