About This Tool
The home game of the world series used to be a rotation between two leagues. Since 2003, the winner of the Star Game Has home-court advantage. Since 2017, Major League Baseball has officially abolished the system, whereby all-star game results no longer affect home-court advantage in the world series, but instead give home-court advantage to the team with a better record. In 2017, the Los Angeles Dodgers’s regular season record was 10458, while the Los Angeles Dodgers’s regular season record was 10161, although the winner of that year’s All Star game was still the Los Angeles Dodgers team, the new system gave the team a home court advantage.
