Why Is He So Lucky? Five older brothers in a humble family has its downsides, but Ron is lucky to come from a loving and healthy family. He gets to be best friends with Harry and go on adventures with him, without having the burden of being the Chosen One. He qualifies to join the Quidditch team, and to everyone’s surprise - including his own - Ron is made a prefect in his fifth year. He survives the Battle of Hogwarts, as well as helps Harry and Hermione destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes. As an adult, he winds up marrying and having a family with the talented and brilliant Hermione.
Luckiest Moment: When their dad stops the twins from tricking their baby brother Ron into participating in an unbreakable curse.

(#12) Professor Albus Dumbledore

Who He Is: Headmaster Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was Order of Merlin, First Class, Grand Sorcerer, Supreme Mugwump, Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot.
Why Is He So Lucky? Dumbledore lived many lives and experienced many heartaches, trials, tribulations, discoveries, and victories. Some might not consider him lucky for the hardships and mistakes he made while he was alive. However, Dumbledore was incredibly fortunate in that many of his long-term plans worked out the way he’d envisioned. This includes having Harry raised by his Muggle family, keeping Snape close to Voldermort, getting Slughorn to give Harry his unadulterated memories, sealing the fate of the Elder Wand, and setting up the ultimate demise of Voldemort with Harry surviving it.
Luckiest Moment: Creating a bond with Fawkes the Phoenix.

(#8) Rubeus Hagrid

Who He Is: Rubeus Hagrid is who he is, an’ he is not ashamed.
Why Is He So Lucky? Hagrid did have a string of bad luck, considering he was expelled from Hogwarts in his third year, wrongly accused of opening the Chamber of Secrets (twice), and served a six-month sentence in Azkaban. Ultimately, though, Hagrid is exceptionally lucky. He gets to remain on school grounds as gamekeeper and a trusted confidant of Dumbledore. He plays an important role in Harry’s life, and the two of them are lucky to know each other.
Luckiest Moment: Using his broken wand without getting caught.

Who He Is: An Acromantula formerly owned by Hagrid.
Why Is He So Lucky? He was hand-raised by Hagrid, which would be pretty awesome because he is so kind and loving to all creatures. He was surely fed the best spider foods and given the best spider care that Hagrid could provide for him. When Hagrid was wrongly accused of opening the Chamber of Secrets and harboring the evil creature within, he set Aragog free in the Forbidden Forest rather than turn him over to authorities. As a result, Aragog lived on to have many children - as Harry and Ron would later learn, much to their chagrin. That's pretty lucky for a humble spider.
Luckiest Moment: When Hagrid sets him free in the Forbidden Forest.

Who She Is: The mother of Draco Malfoy, wife of Lucius, and only sister of Bellatrix Lestrange.
Why Is She So Lucky? Narcissa is vain, cruel, a supporter of the Dark Arts, and an enabler of her husband’s vicious behavior. This makes all she gets away with in the Harry Potter movies that much more lucky. She convinces Severus Snape to conduct an Unbreakable Vow protecting her son, a feat her sister Bellatrix didn’t think he’d ever do. She also gets away with telling a convincing lie to Voldemort, who's a master of Occlumency and could almost always tell when someone was lying to him. As a result, she is able to save her son’s life (and Harry’s) as a result. Her entire immediate family survives the Battle of Hogwarts and are forgiven for their former wrongdoings after Voldemort is defeated.
Luckiest Moment: When she tells Lord Voldemort that Harry has perished, and he believes her.

Who He Is: The eldest son of the Dursleys, Harry’s cousin, and fearsome Smelting stick-wielder.
Why Is He So Lucky? Dudley is lucky in the fact that he was born to parents who spoiled and cared for him, as well as watched out for his every need. It could be argued, as Dumbledore pointed out, that it’s a disadvantage and actually cruel - but, overall, being spoiled is much better than being neglected and living in a broom closet.
Luckiest Moment: When Harry saves Dudley from the Dementor’s kiss.
