About This Tool

In 2014, Liberia received an FCPF grant and financial support from the government of Norway for the successful preparation and implementation of REDD-plus and forest resource inventories. The forest inventory was carried out by a team of Liberian FTI, Liberian UL, and FDA experts. On the one hand, forest inventory can better monitor rural land use. On the other hand, the forest inventory will also help to establish Liberia’s national carbon emission baseline and collect data focusing on the status of forest degradation and deforestation by surveying the resources of different tree species, to establish reference levels for National Forest Management Carbon emissions/removals.

Using 11 items generated by this random tool, it is clear how much national forest is in Liberia, how much vegetation is covered when it was established, and in which counties and cities.

Click the "Display All Items" button and you will get a list of Liberian national forests.
