Luckily for the Aries, their goals always seem impossible; the light at the end of the tunnel is rarely ever there. While this really isn’t anything new for the Aries, they may feel a tiny, nagging feeling of doubt.

  Taurus (April 20 - May 20) can be loyal, nurturing, and stable. In this regard, they make great friends and spouses. However, they can also be quite stubborn and bitter. They hold a grudge like it’s nobody’s business. These grudges can hold the Taurus back in their pursuits. If they are still focusing energy on their past, that is less energy they are able to pour into their future.

  Because a month with no Full Moons and only a New Moon is great for new beginnings, the Taurus should try to rid themselves of grudges, rivalries, and any other wounds from the past they may be carrying.   None of the Air signs are necessarily considered "grounded," but Gemini (May 21 - June 20) may be the least grounded of them all. As the sign of the twin, Gemini is often dealing with conflicting ideas, desires, and traits at even given time. Gemini can talk themselves into something as quickly as they can then talk themselves out of it. Why does everyone put up with this flightiness? Because Gemini is a ton of fun. They are curious, friendly, and adventurous.

  Without a Full Moon, Gemini may feel even less grounded than usual. This isn’t necessarily outside of their comfort level per se, though they may try to do things to ground themselves.   Because the Cancer (June 21 - July 22) is a Water sign, they are especially connected to the Moon. Just like how the Moon controls the waves of the ocean, the Moon also controls the waves of the Cancer’s emotions. Cancers may be in for a rough emotional month.

  Cancers should brace themselves, as the lack of a Full Moon may result in feelings of darkness, isolation, and sadness. The Cancer will feel listless, sensitive, and moody as well. They will feel like they’re walking in this dark cave of emotions and there is no way out. The Cancer should prepare for this by staying cognizant of their emotions. Knowing that the Moon has pushed you into this dark cave of emotions will push away feelings of hopelessness.

  The Leo (July 23 - August 22) may be feeling - shock of all shocks - less confident than usual. Yes, it is completely out of character for the Leo to take a hit to their self-esteem, but this Black Moon does just that. Because the Black Moon provides a certain cloudiness, the Leo will feel less connected to themselves. They’ll start to question their goals, confidence, and choices. They may even start questioning how they ended up in their relationship, profession, or apartment. Everything is uncertain.

  Because the Leo thrives off attention and being the star, they may turn to outward praise in order to regain their confidence. While relying on praise from others as a source of confidence isn’t recommended, it’s okay if it gets you through the Black Moon. So soak in those compliments and feel a bit better, Lions and Lionesses.

  The Virgo (August 23 - September 22) is the hardest working sign of the zodiac. They clock in early and are the last to leave the office. If there’s a special project, they are the first to volunteer to do it. Basically, everyone wants them on their team.

  Because they are such hard workers, the Virgo can feel especially agitated when work isn’t going well, which is the case during the Black Moon. Actually, it’s not so much that work isn’t really going well - it just feels that way to Virgos. Without a Full Moon, this period of time feels like it’s without completion. It feels as though nothing is getting fully done and no goals are being completely met. 

  It’s best for the Virgo to remember the Black Moon only makes them feels as though progress isn’t being made when it actually is. Take a deep breath, Virgo babes; your projects will come to fruition.

  Full Moons can sometimes have a bad reputation. Yes, they are a time of reflection and feeling whole, but they also often illuminate information we have been avoiding. This new information can lead to confusion, conflict, and heartache.

  All that said, the Libra (September 23 - October 22) can often find themselves acting as a mediator during a Full Moon. The Libra is a social sign who thrives in harmonious, peaceful situations. Because of their penchant for peace and fairness, they will often smooth things over when those close to them are in an argument. Without a Full Moon, there won’t be this moment of potential conflict or confusion. The Libra will (thankfully) not have to deal with unfortunate social situations because of the Full Moon.

  The Scorpio (October 23 - November 21) is a highly emotional sign, though they tend to keep these emotions guarded and hidden. The Scorpio is one of the most secretive signs of the zodiac, which is why they often seem emotionless when in reality they are anything but. 

  During the Black Moon, the Scorpio will play things even closer to the chest. When things are unclear, the Scorpio folds in on themselves. Since the Black Moon is a time of darkness and confusion all around, the Scorpio will be feeling less trusting, less social, and much more secretive. Unfortunately, the Black Moon also isn’t a great time for connecting with oneself. Instead of banging their head against a wall and putting in a ton of effort to make very little progress, the Pisces will just mentally check out for the month. Actually, it's kind of genius.
