The coach invites the staff to help reenact the situation in an effort to reach "a more positive outcome"; however, during the reenactment of the reenactment, Michael has a hard time listening to Kevin's interpretation of the comedy routine and inturrupts with a problematic, explitive-ridden performance of his own.

When Jan expresses her shock at Michael's being so "obtuse about sexual orientation," he defends himself by saying that he watches The L Word and Queer as Folk, misremembering the name of the latter in the process.

Michael is then given the honor of pushing Phyllis's father's wheelchair down the aisle; however, to Michael's dismay, Phyllis's dad stands up halfway down the aisle and walks her, on his own, the rest of the way. Michael very obviously feels cheated out of his moment in the spotlight at Phyllis's side and very expressedly tells the camera how he's feeling.

Arriving back at the Scranton branch just in time to make his webcam introduction, Michael uses his screentime to inform Ryan that Dwight beat the website in the day's sales, complete with a vulgar descriptor aimed at Ryan.

She suggesting that they all develop a plan in which they hire a new guy, take out a $100k life-insurance plan on him, and murder him to collect the money, privately revealing to the camera that she believes that might be what they are doing to her. Then, after a pause, Michael expresses his frustration and confusion at Erin's suggestion with a few choice words.

    When Michael returns to the privacy of his office, he reveals just how much it is going to hurt to leave Dunder Mifflin.

Watching the six episodes of the first season, I didn’t think I liked the show and even annoyed the role of Michael Scott. But as I learn more about the background of each character, the better I can understand each character's behavior. Let's face it, Michael Scott may not be the best boss, but he does keep trying and sometimes brings countless laughs.
