One of the coolest couples in Hollywood, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale first met all the way back in 1995 during a No Doubt tour. The pair dated for more than six years before getting engaged on New Year's Day in 2002. They wed in September of that same year. They lived happily for a few years before finding out that Rossdale fathered a daughter in 1989. Although the addition of a 14-year-old to their relationship was definitely an adjustment, the pair made it through the trying time.
In 2006, Stefani gave birth to the pair's first child, Kingston James McGregor Rossdale. Two years later, the couple welcomed Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. In 2012, Stefani and Rossdale celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary. Stefani gave an interview in which she candidly spoke about the challenges of juggling a career and children, but her relationship with Rossdale seemed rock solid. During this time, Schwarzenegger pursued a film career before transitioning to politics in 2003. The couple enjoyed a fairly happy relationship over the course of their many years together, with nothing much to report about their romance in the way of rumors or drama. That is, until 2011.
That May, the couple announced their separation after 25 years of marriage amid rumors that Schwarzenegger fathered a child with the housekeeper. Although the couple initially claimed they were working on their relationship, Shriver officially filed for divorce in July.

After 23 years of marriage, the couple announced their separation in October 2013. They explained that they were happier living apart, but still acknowledged their 24th wedding anniversary in April 2014. Faris was still married to Ben Indra at the time, and Pratt didn't make a move until their divorce was announced. However, he later told the world that the couple fell in love on set. The pair dated throughout 2007 and got engaged in 2008. They married in 2009 in Bali.
Faris and Pratt lived happily for a few years before giving birth to their son Jack in 2012. They were fairly open about their relationship in the years that followed. The hypotenuse of Hollywood's most famous love triangle, Brad Pitt got together with Angelina Jolie immediately following (and perhaps overlapping with) his high-profile separation from Jennifer Aniston in 2005. The pair met while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004 and developed feelings for one another while on set, despite Pitt still being married to Aniston. Immediately after he announced his separation from Aniston in 2005, Pitt and Jolie were seen spending lots of time together.
The pair announced their engagement in May 2012 and married in 2014 in a private ceremony in France. Over the course of their relationship, they had 6 children together: Jolie's adopted son Maddox, the couple's first adopted child together, Zahara, their first biological baby, Shiloh, their second adopted child, Pax, and their biological twins Vivienne and Knox. After many apparently happy years together, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.
Jolie also petitioned for primary custody of their six children. Although neither Jolie nor Pitt talked about the reasons behind their divorce, most speculation revolved around Jolie's distaste for Pitt's treatment of the children. The pair were declared legally single in April 2019.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin first met in 2002 after Martin asked Paltrow to come backstage following a Coldplay concert in Los Angeles. Ironically enough, tabloid rumors that claimed that the couple were already dating encouraged them to meet in the first place. They began dating soon after that and Paltrow even took a break from her Hollywood life to follow Coldplay on tour. In December 2003, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child, and the pair secretly wed that same month in Santa Barbara, California.
After their wedding, Paltrow gave birth to daughter Apple in May 2004 and son Moses in April 2006. Although Paltrow hinted at marriage troubles in a later interview, she explained that Martin was an amazing father and she was proud to co-parent with him. Then, in 2014, after 11 years together, Paltrow and Martin released a statement on the Goop website explaining that the couple had decided to separate. They referred to their split as a "conscious uncoupling." Devoted parents, they had worked hard to stay together, only to determine that they were better off apart.
Since then, the couple has remained friendly, even going on double dates together with their new partners.
