  During the Square off against of Hogwarts, Lord Voldemort had his snake/horcrux/best friend Nagini eliminate Snape because he suspected he was the true holder of the Elder Wand. In his final moments, Snape revealed to Harry how much he loved his mother.

  Amelia Bones was a part of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. She resided over a disciplinary hearing for Harry, where she was impressed by his credentials and let him go.

  A year later, her body was found in a room that was locked from the inside, and it was speculated she put up a fight. Many believed Voldemort took her out because she didn't follow his beliefs.

  He fell madly in love with her and when she didn't love him back, he took her life.

  In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry and Voldemort finally come face to face for an epic fight. Voldemort casts a Killing Curse with the Elder Wand against Harry; however, the spell backfires and hits Voldemort, killing him.
