(#2) Greed
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
At first, Greed seems like he's more chaotic evil than chaotic neutral - he's totally out for himself, and is more than willing to kill other people if it means amassing possessions. But when he unexpectedly starts to care about another person, he ends up willingly sacrificing himself to save them.

(#3) Vegeta
- Dragon Ball Z Kai, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound, Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – The Father of Goku, Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks, Dragon Ball Z: The Return of Cooler, Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan, Plan to Destroy the Saiya-jin, Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!, Dragon Ball
After Vegeta joins the good guys, he's still not exactly into good deeds for the sake of them. While he does protect other people, it's often to stop bad guys from killing Goku before he can prove that he's stronger than him.
-
(#7) Seto Kaiba
- Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light, Yu-Gi-Oh!
Seto Kaiba cares about two things: defeating his rival Yugi, and protecting his little brother Mokuba. As for everything else, whatever - it's all about his ego, which is why you'll see him flying around in a dragon-shaped jet plane and challenging people on both sides of a moral battle.
-
(#8) Team Rocket - Pokémon
It's hard to see Team Rocket - meaning, Jessie, James, and Meowth as evil - but they are stealing other people's Pokémon, which can't exactly be called good. Whether it's defying the law of the land or the law of the Team Rocket higher-ups, they refuse to conform to the rules.
-
(#10) Diethard Ried
- Code Geass
Diethard Reid didn't join the resistance against Brittainia out of any sort of moral system. He wants to be where the action is, so that he can write up an interesting story. If people get hurt in the process, oh well.
-
(#11) Ryoko
- Tenchi Muyo! GXP
You can't exactly call someone who robs banks for a living good, but you can't call someone who will fight to the death to defend their loved ones bad. Ryoko's relationship with morality is tangential at best, but between drinking, fighting Ayeka, and loving on Tenchi, she knows how to have a good time.

(#13) Arsène Lupin III
- Lupin III Part III, Lupin III, Lupin III Part II, Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, Lupin the Third: The Movie - Lupin vs. the Clones, Lupin the Third: Farewell to Nostradamus, Lupin the Third: The Legend of the Gold of Babylon, The Castle of Cagliostro, Lupin III: Dead or Alive, The Plot of the Fuma Clan, Lupin the 3rd: Missed by a Dollar, Lupin the Third: Strange Psychokinetic Strategy, Lupin III
As a professional thief, Arsène Lupin III's main concern involves stealing whatever he's set his eye on. He'll play the hero when it suits him, but he's not particularly invested in doing what's right or what's wrong.
-
(#16) Michiko Malandro
- Michiko to Hatchin
Escaping from prison and kidnapping your may-be-daughter from her foster home are some of the most chaotic acts a person can take. Though she does save Hana from an abusive situation, she's not really about helping her daughter so much as she is about further endangering her in pursuit of a larger goal.
-
(#19) Benten - The Eccentric Family
Benten is a human who was raised by tengu, and now spends her days trying to find a place for herself. This often involves manipulating other people into relationships that can sometimes be detrimental and which can even totally upend their lives - but she's rarely acting out of malice, just whim.
-
(#20) Osomatsu Matsuno - Osomatsu-san
Osomatsu Matsuno isn't specifically out to hurt anyone, but he doesn't really care that much if he does. Sure, his parents want him to find a job, and his brothers want him to stop stealing their money and spending it at the pachinko parlor, but he's just gotta be himself, man.

About This Tool
A neutralist is a group of people who fall somewhere between a positive role and a negative role. They do not support the views and positions of either the positive or the negative side but remain neutral, this is why they are often referred to as neutrals. One of the reasons for this group’s neutrality is that they do not want to offend either the right or the wrong side, but only seek self-preservation. Another reason is that this group does have a unique idea, that they don’t agree with either the pros or the cons. In real life, neutrals tend to play a role in moderating the conflict between the pros and cons and the cons.
The random tool generated 20 items and collected 20 neutral characters from famous cartoons on the market. They are unpredictable in character and able to navigate between decent and evil characters.
